Entry to the FCI World Dog Show 2014 arranged by the Finnish Kennel Club has been opened on Monday 10th of June 2013. The show will take place at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre between 8th and 10th of August 2014.

On the new website of the event you can now find the lists of judges as well as prices and schedules for entry, classes and general information about the event. Entry for the brace class will be opened later.

The World Dog Show 2014 gathers dogs from all around the world to Helsinki. 116 judges from 31 different countries have been invited to evaluate the dogs. 30 of the judges are Finnish. The estimated number of participating dogs is at least 18.000.

All FCI breed groups will be judged during the three-day show. Also the world championships of junior handlers, obedience and freestyle will be held during the weekend. The show weekend will culminate on Sunday in the Best in Show competition where the best dog in the world will be selected. The Best in Show competition will be judged by the highly respected Finnish all rounder judge Hans Lehtinen.
